There's always a warm welcome here for you, whether you're an experienced quilter or a beginner; whether you're in need of special heirloom fabric or just need someone to help you fiqure yardage. Our helpful, experienced staff will be more than happy to give you that small-town service that really shines through.

We can be found at 103 East Main Street, on Highway 175, in charming Lake City in west central Iowa. There you'll find a beautifully renovated town square with several artisan-type businesses and gift shops.

Visible from the front window are fresh pies cooling and pizza on the wall. Relax, you're in the right place. We have a great display featuring Northcott's Pizza Party and Pie Ala Mode fabric line. The pizzas and pies we are serving up have zero calories and are very high in fiber - Atkins approved.

We also have a large selection of books, patterns, and quilting supplies.

Thimbleberries Club

Circle of Love...Quilters Make Memories

Quilt Club 2005 is all about making memories and why we have become fans of this wonderful heritage craft - quilting.

Thimbleberries Club 2005 features two quilts, Sunrise and Sunset for it's monthly projects. Twelve monthly blocks showcase the Quilt Club 2005 fabric collection.

Membership is $10/annually. We meet every 2nd Monday of the month; Monday afternoon 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or Monday evening 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Remember to bring  show-and-share of either a project using Thimbleberries fabric and/or a pattern and you will be eligible for the door-prize drawing.

If it's a demo you're after, let us provide you with an array of information. You can receive an on-the-spot demo for that special quilting project you're working on or sign up for either beginner or advance quilting classes featuring timesaving and traditional quilt-making techniques. Jim Shore Gift Line

We have a unique collection of gifts from the Jim Shore Gift Line. Each figurine is adorned with some type of quilt design; from nativity sets to pigs, cows, pilgrims, angels, and reindeer. You'll just have to stop in and see the different varieties we have.
